Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to join our Rehab Department in state-of-the-art skilled nursing facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. PTAs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver therapies and educate patients and families.

We offer direct employment with our agency or the option to be your own boss as an Independent Contractor. Hourly pay ranges from $34 to $36 (W-2) or $38 to $40 (1099), with weekly pay and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• NYS PTA license and registration required.
• Proficiency with EMR software required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US in a nursing facility.
• Malpractice/liability insurance, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting for conditions such as TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other disabilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

We offer the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency OR to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
