Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract-full-time position in Dallas, TX. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, executing treatment plans, ensuring proper documentation, and aligning with physician orders.

The role requires current PTA licensure and compliance with professional standards. Ideal candidates may have one year of PTA experience and must meet health and safety

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• One year of prior professional PTA experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulations.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapyservices including treatment, implementation and documentation under thedirection of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s planof care.

Minimum Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in thestate of practice
