Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Mooresville, NC. The PT will evaluate patients and provide therapy services per the care plan and physician orders.

Current state licensure and CPR as applicable are required, with a preference for 1 year of professional experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and document therapy services according to the plan of care.
• Follow physician orders where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patientevaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each individual patient andphysician's orders when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state ofpractice

One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapyexperience preferred

Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
