Job summary

Woodland Village Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Alabama is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our nursing team. The role offers Day Shift and PRN options with compensation of $28-$32 per hour, based on experience, and a supportive environment focused on growth and patient well-being.

You will assist patients with therapeutic exercises, implement plans, educate families, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification in the state of AL.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
