Job summary

Coosa Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Glencoe, Alabama is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position on day shifts. You will support a Nursing team, assist with therapeutic exercises, and help implement treatment plans to improve patient mobility and strength.

The role requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting and an active Alabama PTA license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant ( PTA ) certification in the state of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
