Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and communicate with the supervising PT. The role requires an accredited PTA degree, licensure or certification, and CPR certification (preferred).

Experience is not required, with 0-1 years welcomed. You will collaborate with the care team to support patient progress and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in PTA from an accredited program
• Licenses and Certifications: PTA licensure/certification; CPR certification preferred
• Experience: 0-1 years

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report to supervising PT.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques and safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
