Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Jerseyville, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN role, offering flexibility while supporting a team led by experienced therapists. You’ll contribute to high-quality patient care with the option to tailor your schedule.

You will implement treatment plans under supervision, document patient progress, and educate patients on home exercises and proper use of assistive devices at Jerseyville Nursing & Rehab Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current, unencumbered state PTA license.
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to the supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required


• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License


• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred


• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist


• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
  
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
