La Crescenta Healthcare Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate team. You will administer treatments and assist with patient care under established plans to improve mobility and quality of life for residents.

We offer a salary of $85,280 to $104,000 per year, PRN/on-call duties, and a sign-on bonus. A California PTA license is required, with 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Formación

• Associate degree in PTA program.
• Current California PTA license.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Performs tests and measurements for muscle strength, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with a care plan.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate in home assessments to ensure safe discharge with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents per policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinincal treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.
