Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. You will administer treatments to residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues and perform measurements under an established plan of care.

Salary ranges from $85,280 to $104,000 annually (PRN/ON CALL) with a sign-on bonus; benefits include PTO and referral bonuses. California license active is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current California PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
