Job summary

Park Place Transitional Care & Rehab in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our close-knit therapy team. We offer full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules and a high-acuity unit on-site where you can build respiratory skills without leaving Montana.

You will supervise under a licensed PT, document services, and collaborate with other disciplines to help residents regain function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification in Montana, or proof of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Help patients recover from serious illness, injury or a medical event and regain their best possible function and independence.
• Provide skilled treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following the established plan of care.
• Develop and carry out individualized therapy programs that restore and build performance.
• Document all services accurately and on time.
• Refer to other disciplines when the patient needs it.
• Improve strength, mobility, balance and gait after hip fractures, joint replacements and other orthopedic or medical events.
