Job summary

Pride-Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for outpatient care in Pendleton, Oregon. The role supports licensed physical therapists by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, hands-on treatment, and progress documentation to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The assignment runs for 34 weeks with a five-day/ eight-hour shift pattern. A patient-centered approach and good communication with patients and clinicians are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• PTA license or eligibility to practice in Oregon.
• Experience in outpatient or rehab settings preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapeutic exercises under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Provide hands-on therapy as prescribed.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment.
