Important: Applicants must be licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Delaware or part of the PT Compact Program. If you do not hold a PTA license or have not graduated from an accredited PTA program, your application will not be considered.

We are searching for a FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME Physical Therapist Assistants for Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS.

Aquacare Physical Therapy PLUS is an innovative mobile rehab model that brings outpatient (Part B) therapy directly to patients' homes. It serves more active individuals focused on maintaining independence, recovering from orthopedic injuries, or achieving personal fitness goals. This role offers the advantage of spending more time with each patient and managing a smaller daily caseload than traditional outpatient clinics. If you prefer fewer patient visits per day and personalized care without time constraints, this role is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide outpatient-level therapy services to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
2. Manage a diverse orthopedic caseload, treating injuries, pain, movement dysfunctions, and active older adults.
3. Create personalized care plans emphasizing strength, mobility, balance, and pain reduction.
4. Spend more one-on-one time with each patient, focusing on quality care.
5. Provide care in homes, parks, fitness centers or other community settings, ensuring sessions are functional and relevant.
6. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Education and Experience (Required)

• Active PTA License: Licensed in Delaware or part of the PT Compact Program.
• Accredited Education: Minimum Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy recognized by CAPTE.
• Experience: At least 1 year as a licensed PTA.
• Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license, current insurance, good driving record.
• Certification: PTA License (Required), CPR (Preferred).
