We are currently seeking a motivated, compassionatePhysical Therapy Assistant (PTA)to join our Queens team as an Independent Contractor.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy interventions in the home health setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in implementing customized care plans focused on maximizing patient mobility, function, and independence.
• Communicate proactively with supervising PTs, physicians, patients, and family members.
• Support patient onboarding processes, including assisting with benefit verifications and documentation as needed.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of visits in the EMR system.
• Embody FFITT’s core values of excellence, empathy, and wellbeing in every patient interaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid New York State licensure as aPhysical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills.
• Comfortable traveling throughout Queens for home visits (reliable transportation required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.
