Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support treatment under a licensed therapist. You will assist with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular therapies, monitor patient responses, and help with discharge planning and home programs.

Required is an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and problem-solve are essential in this role. This position requires on-site work in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in treatment of patient’s musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary systems.
• Monitors and notifies supervisory therapist of patient’s response to treatment.
• Plans for patient discharge including home programs and equipment orders.
• Completes all required documentation with co-signatures and billing records.
