Qualifications

• Successful completion of an APTA-approved two-year PTA program.
• Current license in the applicable state to practice as a PTA.
• CPR certification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical therapy programs as planned under the supervising PT.
• Train patients in exercises, ambulation and daily living activities.
• Collect clinical assessment scores, radiographic scores and QoL data.
• Perform tests/evaluations across developmental levels and motor skills.
• Screen for orthopedic/genetic issues and other defects as needed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; assist with research and data quality.
