Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a daytime, full-time role at our Raymore, MO location. You will implement treatment plans under supervision, document patient progress, and educate patients on home exercises and assistive devices.

Licensure reimbursement is provided. The position requires an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and active Missouri PTA licensure; 1 year of PTA experience is preferred, with a strong focus on patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Implements individualized treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Documents patient progress and communicates changes to supervising PT.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and status changes.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
