Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation, part of Select Medical, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Float role. This full-time position involves traveling among Erie, Edinboro, Seneca, Titusville, Franklin and Sandy Lake centers, delivering high-quality orthopedic PT services under supervision.

The PTA will work in a dynamic outpatient setting with emphasis on orthopedic and sports medicine care, manual therapy, and workers compensation cases.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Overview

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Float

Location: Float between Erie, Edinboro, Seneca, Titusville, Franklin and Sandy Lake areas

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays (7 am - 12 pm)

Compensation: $20.00-$25.00/Hr. commensurate with experience

Our NovaCare Rehabilitationoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a PTA with a strong orthopedic, sports medicine, manual therapy, and workers compensation interest. Indirect supervision preferred however not mandatory.
