Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide services at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. This role supports military patients, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence within a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, an Associate Degree, CAPTE accreditation, and current PTA license or equivalent, with at least one year of recent experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• One year of PTA experience in the last two years.
• Current, full, active PTA license or equivalent per APTA guidance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.
• Collaborate with an integrated military medical team to restore mobility and function.

Position Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Associate Degree
• Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year of experience within the last two years as a Physical Therapy Assistant. License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapy assistant or possess current certification as a physical therapy assistant/technician as determined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
