Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks an On-Site Staff Physical Therapist at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic in Dumfries, Virginia. Schedule: Full-time/Part-Time, Monday–Friday, with an 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. workday and 11 federal holidays off.

You will diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and promote neuromusculoskeletal health while providing orthopedic care for ages 15–64, including service members and families. Requirements include Doctoral PT, active U.S.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college.
• Unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, DC, PR, Guam, or US Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of two years of PT experience within the last three years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Knowledge of computer operations and basic word processing and data entry.

• Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function and neuromusculoskeletal health.
• Prevent impairments and disabilities resulting from diseases or injuries.

On-Site Staff Physical TherapistSpectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a prior Military or Civilian Staff Physical Therapist.

Location: Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic,Dumfries, VirginiaSchedule: Full-time/Part-Time - Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Education: Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
• Preferred - Sports Medicine
• License: Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
• Certifications: Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
• Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
• Technical Skills: Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records
