Job summary

Seattle Hill Physical Therapy in Snohomish is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedics team.

You will assist licensed therapists with therapeutic exercises, plan treatments, document progress, and educate patients to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree PTA from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Patient follow-up: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment planning: assist PTs in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the PT.
• Patient education: educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Professional atmosphere: collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
