Job summary

NorthSound Physical Therapy in Snohomish, WA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative, team-focused practice. This full-time, in-person role offers 45-minute 1-on-1 patient care, flexible scheduling, and strong growth opportunities.

You’ll work under a physical therapist to implement personalized treatment plans for orthopedic patients, with experience preferred for outpatient settings. New grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Washington state.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities to improve ROM, strength, and endurance.
• Observe progress and document changes, reporting to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with the team to adjust plans based on assessments and patient feedback.

Details

• Position: Full-time
• Compensation: $26.00 – $37.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Schedule: Monday – Friday – 4 ten hour days or 5 eight hour day schedules available
• Experience: New Grads Welcome!
• Patient Care: 45-minutes with 1-on-1 patient care (no double booking)
• Work Location: In person
• Ability to commute to Snohomish

Responsibilities

• Assist the physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs, medical history, and goals.
• Conduct exercises and therapeutic activities as prescribed by the physical therapist, focusing on improving patients’ range of motion, flexibility, strength, and endurance.
• Observe and evaluate patients’ progress during therapy sessions, documenting and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
• Collaborate with the physical therapy team to develop and modify treatment plans as necessary, based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Washington.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
