Job summary

OPTM Physical Therapy Saratoga, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Saratoga, CA. You will support licensed therapists with treatments and patient education.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree as PTA, California licensure or eligibility, and ability to work collaboratively. Outpatient experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Patient follow up: conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Treatment planning: assist PT in developing and implementing patient plans.
• Therapeutic interventions: perform manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: monitor and document patient progress using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Patient education: educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Maintain professional atmosphere and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Pay: $40-$44 per hour depending upon experience

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.


• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.


• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.


• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.


• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans


• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.


• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.


• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
