Job summary

Silver Creek Physical Therapy, part of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team in the Gilroy/San Jose area. You will support PTs with patient care and contribute to treatment plans.

The role requires an Associate degree in PTA and current state licensure or eligibility. Outpatient experience is preferred but not required, and the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.

• Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Pay: $40-44/hour depending on experience

Silver Creek Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving San Jose and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
