Job summary

Napa Valley Physical Therapy Center, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated team in Napa County. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans, supervising exercises, and patient education under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for PTA licensure.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, modalities, and education.
• monitor and document patient progress using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, optimal patient care.

Pay: $40-$44 per hour depending upon experience

Napa Valley Physical Therapy Center, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving Napa County and surrounding communities since 1952.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
