Creekside Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team in California. The PTA will administer treatments, perform tests, and implement care plans for residents in a supportive, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in PTA and California license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients following the plan of care.
• Measures muscle strength, ROM, and related tests as directed.
• Provides direct clinical treatment within scope of practice and guidelines.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and records.
• Supports home visits or assessments when appropriate with PT/OT.
• Completes forms per policy and federal/state regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Salary: $81,120 - $93,600 Full/Part Time

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.
