Job summary

Skyline Healthcare Center-San Jose is seeking a driven Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in San Jose, CA. The PTA will deliver treatments within scope of practice under established plans of care, while ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in PTA and California license; one year of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome. Comprehensive benefits and relocation reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
