Vale Healthcare Center in California is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents' mobility and well-being under PT supervision. This role emphasizes compassionate care and hands-on therapy in a supportive facility environment.

The position offers a salary range of $81,120 to $93,600 annually, a sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, relocation reimbursement and referral bonuses.

Formación

• Associate degree in PTA program completed.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• CA state license to practice as PTA.

Responsabilidades

• Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers tests and measurements: strength, coordination, ROM, respiration, circulation.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established care plan.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate in home assessments to aid discharge with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes forms and documents per company policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.
