Job summary

Team Rehab seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan clinics. You will treat patients, educate on injuries and wellness, and support modality setups with technicians while maintaining accurate daily documentation and productive scheduling.

The role emphasizes a team-oriented environment, commitment to diversity, and ongoing professional growth through CEUs and coursework.

Qualifications

• Requires an AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid PTA license (or eligibility to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Treat patients, address questions, and educate them on injuries, progress, and long-term wellness strategies.
• Supervise Techs during modalities (for all federal payers and non-BCBSM patients) and assist with setup and cleanup.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation for daily notes and discharges.
• Maintain productivity expectations (60 treatments in a 40 hour week in an outpatient ortho setting).
• Assist in developing and refining treatment protocols.
• Participate in clinic research studies.
• Continue to grow professionally through CEUs and approved coursework.
