Job summary

Team Rehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopaedic setting in Washington, DC. You will deliver high-quality patient care under a PT, educate on injuries, and supervise techs during modalities.

You’ll complete timely notes, maintain productivity, contribute to treatment protocols, and participate in clinic research. Ongoing CEUs and education are supported with generous PTO and bonuses.

Qualifications

• AAS PTA degree required.
• Valid PTA license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Treat patients, address questions, and educate on injuries, progression, and wellness.
• Supervise Techs during modalities and assist with setup and cleanup.
• Complete accurate daily notes and discharge documentation.
• Maintain productivity: 60 treatments in a 40-hour week in outpatient ortho.
• Help develop and refine treatment protocols.
• Participate in clinic research studies.
• Pursue CEUs and approved coursework for professional growth.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Supervise Techs during modalities (for all federal payers and non-BCBSM patients) and assist with setup and cleanup.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation for daily notes and discharges.
• Maintain productivity expectations (60 treatments in a 40 hour week in an outpatient ortho setting).
• Assist in developing and refining treatment protocols.
• Participate in clinic research studies.
• Continue to grow professionally through CEUs and approved coursework.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
