Job summary

Rock Canyon Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. Pay is $30 - $40/hour based on experience.

The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist, applying evidence-based practices and providing rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and use of devices under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulations and clinical practice.
• Offer consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding physical disorders.

Rock Canyon Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Flexible schedule with work-life balance

Pay :$30 - $40 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
