Job summary

Rock Canyon Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will provide rehabilitative, skilled treatments under an OT supervisor and support geriatric patients on the journey to recovery.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $30–$40 per hour, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance and 401k with match.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• We welcome candidates with all levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with the supervising OT as required by regulations and practices.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Rock Canyon Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center in Pueblo, CO, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay :$30 - $40 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.


• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.


• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
