Job summary

Silver Creek Physical Therapy, part of Therapy Partners Group, is hiring an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative team in California. The role focuses on implementing PT-directed plans, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and education to outpatient orthopedic patients.

You will document progress using Raintree, assist in treatment planning, and contribute to patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as PTA from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient follow up: perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist PTs in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, education.
• Document progress using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Pay: $40-44/hour depending on experience

Silver Creek Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics serving San Jose and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
