Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in patients' homes within the Ohio service area. The PTA will implement parts of prescribed interventions and assist with treatment plans in accordance with APTA standards.

The ideal candidate has CAPTE-accredited PTA education, an unrestricted PTA license, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current unrestricted PTA license or certification.
• Current unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Experience as required by the state Board to treat home health patients.
• Therapy skills aligned with APTA standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
• Apply home health treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain documentation per agency guidelines.
