Job summary

Select Medical's NovaCare outpatient center in Mitchellville, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to join a respected clinical team.

This 32-40 hour schedule includes two evenings until 7 PM, no weekends, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates welcome with mentorship from experienced clinicians.

You will provide patient care under supervision, help patients regain function and participate in a supportive benefits program.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Education

Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant - Licensed Clinical Position

Join our NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center inMitchellville, Maryland, and be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a full-time licensed physical therapist assistant (LPTA). We can consider new graduate physical therapist assistants, with experienced clinicians onsite to offer mentorship. This is a full-time, 40-hour work week (no weekends) that will require two nights of treating until 7 PM. The last patient is scheduled an hour prior.

$3,000 Sign on Bonus Available
