NovaCare Clarksville, a part of Select Medical, is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for full-time outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and related programs in NovaCare Rehabilitation. Salary is hourly with a sign-on bonus and student loan assistance, and mentorship is available.

Candidates must be Maryland-licensed or in process, with a PTA degree and CPR certification. Full-time schedule includes evenings; benefits and internal mobility are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support referrals and care continuity.

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, Concussion, ReVital (oncology), Hand Therapy, and Neurology

Status: Full-time, 32-40 hours

Compensation: $29.00 - $38.00/ Hour

Incentives: Sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and indefinite student loan help

This full-time River Hill position is ideal for a Maryland-licensed PTA with at least one year of outpatient orthopedic experience. However, we will consider new graduate physical therapist assistants. We offer on-site mentorship with our multidisciplinary team.

We treat a diverse orthopedic population, from teens to geriatrics, with specialty services including sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), neurology, vestibular, and concussion programs.

Schedule: Full-time (32- 40 hours), treating until 8:00 PM twice a week. The last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:00 A.M.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
