Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Clarksville, MD is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for outpatient orthopedics and related services. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT, delivering high-quality patient care with a collaborative team.

The role offers full-time hours (32–40/week) with evening shifts, a $29–$38 hourly rate, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, loan assistance, and comprehensive benefits including PTO, health plans, 401(k), and CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PT assistant program.
• Passed the national examination for PTAs, certified by the CAPTE.
• Maryland licensure requirement to treat in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement high‑quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principles of physical therapy and company policies.
• Maintain a positive interaction level with centers and patients, enhancing client relationships.

Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Vestibular, Concussion, ReVital (oncology), Hand Therapy, and Neurology

Work Schedule

Full time (32‑40 hours). Hours include 8:00 PM twice a week; the last patient is scheduled an hour before close. Early days begin at 7:00 AM.

Compensation & Incentives

Pay: $29.00 – $38.00 per hour. Sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 and indefinite student loan help.
