Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Madison, CT is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient care. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 4-day option and no weekends, and pays $28–$35 per hour based on experience.

We focus on personalized care, balance and vestibular therapy, and functional movement, with strong mentorship, CE support, and a collaborative clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Connecticut (or in the final stages of licensure).
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and motivated.
• Positive attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
• Outpatient, ortho, neuro, vestibular, or balance therapy experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy treatments 1 on 1 with PT guidance.
• Carry out individualized plans of care.
• Work with orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and functional mobility needs.
• Document treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary team.
• Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered clinic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist including 1 on 1 care ranging from 10 – 14 per day.
• Carry out individualized plans of care
• Work with patients with orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and functional mobility needs
• Document treatments accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
• Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and the interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to a supportive and patient-centered clinic environment
