Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to work with a licensed PT, delivering home-based therapy to help patients regain strength and mobility.

You will assess and treat both pediatric and adult patients in their homes, coordinate visits with families, document progress, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Texas PTA license.
• 1+ year of PTA experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Own device and reliable internet connection to access schedule and charting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Provide physical therapy services in patients’ homes.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Coordinate visits directly with patients and families.
• Document progress and communicate with the supervising PT.
