Job summary

Smith Therapy Partners has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingLas Vegas, Henderson,and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

This role focuses on conducting therapeutic exercises, assisting with treatment plans, and educating patients and families while collaborating with the care team in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the PT.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques and provide patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the clinic system.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality care.

Pay: $28-32/hour depending on experience; Spanish speaking preferred!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
