Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. The role supports licensed therapists in patient care and treatment planning.

You will perform therapeutic exercises, document progress, and educate patients while maintaining a collaborative, safety-focused clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Assist PT in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Document patient progress using the EHR in real time and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
