Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in outpatient orthopedics across Orange County. The role involves conducting therapeutic exercises, assisting with treatment plans, and educating patients to promote recovery.

Responsibilities include documenting progress (Raintree), applying manual therapy and modalities, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.

• Provide patient follow-up by conducting prescribed exercises and modalities.
• Assist therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercises, modalities, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress using Raintree and report changes to the therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Hourly: $30-36/hr based on experience

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingOrange Countyand surrounding communities since 1992.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
