Job summary

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, part of Therapy Partners Group, in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant. The role offers hourly pay 30-36 based on experience and involves assisting therapists, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients.

Ideal candidate holds an associate degree as PTA, state licensure or eligibility, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Outpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients by guiding therapeutic exercises and modalities.

Hourly: $30-36/hr based on experience

ProSport Physical Therapy & Performance, a member of Therapy Partners Group, has been the premier provider for outpatient orthopedics servingOrange Countyand surrounding communities since 1992.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning: Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
