Job summary

Inglewood Healthcare Center is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The position offers a salary range of $81,120 — $93,600 per year with full/part-time options and a sign-on bonus. We provide medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, PTO, referral bonuses, and relocation assistance.

The PTA will administer treatments, perform tests, contribute to the care plan, and ensure documentation compliance, working within the scope of practice and state/federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA program required.
• California license to practice as PTA required.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments to ensure discharge to a safe environment with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.
