Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic center in Houston. You will deliver patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on restoring function and enabling activities patients love.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited PTA program degree, pass the CAPTE exam, hold a valid PTA license, CPR certification, and are ready to engage in mentorship and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in good standing or eligible for licensure
• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• CAPTE examination passed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT
• Maintain patient interactions and documentation following center policies

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: $3,000 sign on bonus and unlimited student debt benefit!

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
