Job summary

Accela Rehab & Care Center at Springfield in Glenside PA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our health professional team and deliver excellent care to residents in our facility. You will assist in evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, and helping them perform daily activities independently.

• Maintain resident confidentiality and support team collaboration.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you are to:

• Assist in evaluating Residents & developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that will help the Residents to carry out their daily works independently.
• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.

Requirements Include:

• Current Pennsylvania PTA License
• Experience in Long-term-care settings preferred
