Accela Rehab and Care Center at Somerton in Philadelphia, PA is NOW HIRING a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team of health professionals and deliver high-quality resident care every day.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Pennsylvania PTA license; long‑term care experience is preferred. COVID‑19 vaccination (including booster) is required. We offer competitive pay, company perks, and a supportive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating Residents and developing a treatment plan.

• Assist in rehabilitating Residents post-injury or illness.
• Maintain Resident confidentiality and support team collaboration.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you are to:

• Assist in evaluating Residents & developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that will help the Residents to carry out their daily works independently.
• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.

Requirements Include:

• Current Pennsylvania PTA License
• Experience in Long-term-care settings preferred
