Job summary

Garden Spring Rehab and Care Center in Willow Grove, PA is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of health professionals. You will assist in evaluating residents and developing treatment plans to meet their needs.

The role involves helping residents perform activities, monitoring progress, rehabilitating after injury or illness, protecting confidential information, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania PTA License.
• Experience in Long-term-care settings preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating Residents & developing a treatment plan that will meet their needs.
• Assist in activities that will help the Residents to carry out their daily works independently.
• Assist in monitoring Residents as they carry out the task given to them.
• Assist in rehabilitating Residents who have been disabled as a result of injury, illness, or other problems.
• Assist in maintaining Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Assist in maintaining a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams & contributes to the team effort.
