Job summary

Select Medical’s NovaCare outpatient orthopedic center in Exton, PA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Outpatient care. This full-time position supports a diverse patient mix, including ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion cases, under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Mentorship is provided for new grads, with growth opportunities across 1900 centers nationwide. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO,

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the national PTA exam (CAPTE).
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with adherence to policy and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff.

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient

Location: Exton, PA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. No Weekends!

Compensation: Hourly rate is between $27-$35 based on your experience.

Unique Location/Job Details: Growing outpatient PT clinic with 2 PTs plus front desks staff. Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix with ortho, sports medicine and vestibular/post-concussion. Mentorship provided for new grads. Will start2-3 days at Extony, and supporting surrounding centers in West Chester or Thordnale remaining until census dictates. Growth position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
