Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center. The role involves delivering patient-centered PT services under a licensed therapist, with compensation starting at $25/hour based on experience.

Full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule (hours vary 8am–6pm). Eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and student debt benefit to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• Must pass the CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Must hold a valid state PTA license (or be in process).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by State Practice Act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support referrals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.


• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures


• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program


• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE


• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)


• CPR certification
