Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Troy, OH seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time position. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality therapy services at our outpatient orthopedic center.

Join a respected clinical team focused on restoring function and helping patients return to sports, work, and daily activities. Eligible candidates will have CAPTE certification, a PTA license (or in process), and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Education

Starting at $26.00/hr, commensurate based on years of experience
